This is the old project page for listing Visual3D-based projects, and does not list current Visual3D-based projects, nor does it list enterprise projects that Visual3D has been used in.
You can now
register your own game (or virtual world) project here and
view some of the user projects that have been registered here, where you can find and edit project descriptions, web links, host files, and manage tasks and issues for your project.
Please note that both of these project lists are user maintained and do not list the majority of Visual3D-based projects (and nearly all of the Enterprise ones) are not listed on this site. However, you can find a few of the Enterprise projects which we are able to disclose to the public in the official Visual3D
Partners & Clients page.
Andromeda: The Darkest Night explores the epic universe of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda and leads the player straight into the conflicted period of the Restored Systems Commonwealth. After 300 years of chaos and anarchy (the long night), the young faction struggles for stability, but faces various foes who seek total domination over the three galaxies Andromeda, Milky Way and Triangulum.
Andromeda: The Darkest Night lets the player take part in massive multiplayer battles in a hybrid of first person shooter and space flight simulation. It builds upon the brand new Visual3D.NET engine to allow a seamless transition from planetary surfaces to space. Pilot Slipfighters or try to sabotage the enemy base as a Lancer - the choice is yours!
The Darkest Night is an independent project that will be available for free for all fans of the show and thrilling multiplayer battles alike.

About
Tales of Kalenor is a
massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) in its first stages of development.
It is being developed by
Pijee, a team of volunteers who work on the different aspects of the game.
Story Overview
When the Earth's oil ran out many years ago, the three factions of Earth began to look for new sources of energy that would fuel their societies for years to come. They found that this source deep under the earth, under some of the major cities of the planet. At first, they happily helped each other to find and utilize these pockets of energy, called Breeze, but after decades of collaboration, this last-resort supply of energy was, like the oil, running critically low.
The three factions began to get desperate and this inevitably lead to war. War on a devastating scale, that dragged every fit civilian to fight. In a clash of technology, the apocalypse begins.
Game Description
The game is an online first-person shooter set in the far future. Despite this sci-fi setting, the weapons and scenery is very much like our own (due to the lack of energy to advance research). It will be a massive online shooter, that will allow for huge battles with unlimited variety.
Players, in the game, fight for land throughout a persistent world. They gain land by capturing key points in a territory (a part of a land). These are captured by hacking into the facility and planting the player's factions flag on the top of the building.
Anno Domini
Storyline
An unknown amount of years into the future earth has already colonized other planets and began terraforming them. 3 main colonies were formed controlling parts of space.
Krupyni- The oldest colony, its capital around Alpha Centuri. This was the first star colonized and controlled by humans
Terra- A civilization thats been around for awhile, not as long as the Krupyni but longer then Suden. This colony is the nearest to the Earth, and only controlled when terraforming was perfected
Sudan- The newest colony, sent farther then any other colony to boast about their technology advances.
Each of these major colonies were held in an uneasy peace by Earth, but one day, somehow all communications to the Earth ceased, and any ship trying to enter into its solar system was destroyed. Each colony blamed the other, and declared war on each other.
This is the time for new pilots to purchase ships, hire men ,find the truth and become the richest pilot in the skies.
Gameplay
-3 races, 4 classes of ships, each unique.
-Players must work together (Some must be pilots, some must be turrets)
-Economy is player-based (resources will be obtained and sold by players)
-Clan support (corporations)
-more to come

To add your project to this list, feel free to send a mod a PM or email.
Due to the nature of community projects, some either don't make it, or are put on hold while real life rears its head. Here we mourn the fallen and hope that the delayed will have a swift return.
