Realmware Corporation, developer of the Visual3D Game Engine, is beginning development of a free, open-source multiplayer game which will showcase Visual3D's next-gen 3D graphics and serve as an open-source starter kit / demo game for others to build upon in developing their own games.
This game is based of off Realmware's previous Robot Wars Online game, and will end up as a free massive multiplayer game and virtual world, with an expanding set of waring islands, starting with Lost Isle, and followed by Lizard Rock Island.

Gameplay for Isles of War Online will include fantasy vs. sci-fi FPS and vehicle combat, as well as other varying styles of styles of gameplay and interactivity in the virtual world.
